9:00:00 pm This is not a goodbye, it's a new hello

Hello webOS fanfolk and thank you for letting me serve you at webOS Nation for the past few months. Writing for WN these past few months, interacting with the community again and on a much larger scale than when I was at WOR, has brought immense happiness to me; happiness I hadn't really seen since last August when I previously interned for the webOS Developer Relations team.

So this is a fairly bittersweet thing to have to write. You see, I love writing at webOS Nation, I love the community, and I love being able to help everyone with an outside view on the workings inside the webOS team; however I've been recruited to return to the webOS team as an intern for this summer and fall, starting this Monday, the 25th, with an expected internship end date of mid-to-late-December. This recruitment came as a complete surprise to me, to be honest, having not expected to ever return to the webOS team following HP's announcement last August.

Being on the inside again will enable me to help any webOS or Enyo developer further than I've been able to on the outside. I should be doing much of what I did last summer - developer portal and community stuff, such as tutorials - along with many more things.

Regarding Sparrow - I haven't been able to work on Sparrow as much as I'd hoped and I haven't really provided the level of support and excellence I've always strived for. I will try to continue working on Sparrow as best I can and am currently looking for a development partner. If you're interested in helping shape Sparrow into what it should be, please contact me. I'm still planning on porting it to other platforms and am nearing a potential release candidate for the PlayBook. (as an aside, I'm planning a pretty massive overhaul to Enyo2, a v2.0 of Sparrow, before the end of the year)

So this is not so much a goodbye as it is a brand new hello. Hello webOS faithful, I'll be serving you over at the HP Developer Center for the next six months.
